Angola: South Africa Interested in Scientific Cooperation

Luanda — Angola's Prime Minister Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, and the South African Sciences and Technology minister, Mosibudi Mangena, Tuesday here defended a cooperation between the two countries' scientists, aiming at creating goods and services for the region and the continent.

It was said by Mosibudi Mangena, while speaking to press, at the end of an audience with the Angolan Premier.

According to the South African Cabinet minister, Fernando da Piedade dias dos Santos agreed and promised to support the exchange between South African and Angolan scientists so that they can work together and create goods and services for the wellbeing of the region and Africa.

He declared that it is the two countries' consensus to use the advances of science and technology for the benefits of both peoples, the region and the continent.

Mosibudi Mangena is due to sign an agreement with the Angolan minister of Sciences and Technoloy, João Baptista Ngandagina.

The South African is since Monday in Angola for the strengthening of bilateral relations, above all in human resources.
