1º de Agosto may join Petro Atletico de Luanda at the top of the table of the national first division soccer tournament, in case they beat Interclube this Wednesday in an encounter to fix the fourth round, ANGOP learnt.

With 14 points and lying in the second position, 1º de Agosto will count on the return of its top scorer, Love, who was sidelined with an injury, but they will not have an easy task since they play at their opponent's home ground, at "22 de Junho" pavilion.

Interclube have arguments to contradict the theoretical favouritism of their opponent, although they have not been playing at their best level. They have six points in the ninth position.

The national titleholders, last Angolan representative at the African Cups, was defeated (0-1) by FC Bravos do Maquis, for the seventh round, whereas 1º de Agosto beat Sagrada Esperança by 3-1, also for the same round of the competition.
