The minister of Trade, Joaquim Icuma Muafumba Tuesday here said that it is important that commercial banks easy the access to credit, in order to allow the increase of private investment in Angola, at this stage of national reconstruction, ANGOP learnt.

According to that official, who was speaking at a meeting entitled "Business in Angola", banks should have a more active role, creating micro-credits policies for youths, attractive interests and less bureaucracy.

"In the current context of the country, investments are indispensable for growth and economic development and therefore banks must positively collaborate, giving their contribution in a responsible manner. They should avoid disloyal practices", he said.
