Angola: New Government Officials Sworn in Wednesday

Luanda — Government officials, appointed last Friday by the Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, are being sworn in Wednesday in Luanda, ANGOP learnt from an official souce.

At the ceremony, Augusto da Silva Tomás is being sworn in as the minister of Transport, Francisca do Espírito Santo as the governor of Luanda province and Graciano Francisco Domingos as the depty minister of Territory Administration.

Luís de Assunção Pedro da Mota Liz is being sworn in as deputy minister of Urbanisation and Environment, the lieutenant general Hélder Fernando Pitra Grós will occupy the post of deputy State attorney general for the military sphere of the Angolan Armed Forces and military attorney of the Armed Forces and José Alberto Quipungo will be the deputy governor of northern Kwanza Norte province.
