The Sedition trial of journalist Fatou Jaw Manneh, before Magistrate Buba Jawo at the Kanifing Magistrates' Court, did not proceed on Monday, 14th April,. The Court adjourned the case after it realized that Lamin Jobarteh, the defense counsel, was ill and not present.

The state counsel, Ellen Manga, applied for an adjournment. The case is to resume on Monday, 21st April, for continuation.
