When BMC coach Clever Hunda leads his charges against Notwane at the UB Stadium tonight, he will only have one thing in mind - to register a third successive win and ease pressure from the relegation candidates.
The Coca-Cola champions are lying second from bottom with 25 points from 24 games. In Notwane, they meet another side that is not yet safe from relegation. Toronto are sitting in ninth spot with 30 points from 23 outings and must churn out results if they want to avoid relegation. Both BMC and Notwane should be charged up for tonight's match and fans should brace themselves for good football. BMC might have registered two wins in a row against Police XI and Mogoditshane Fighters but Notwane can take solace from their performance against Gaborone United last Friday.
Hunda summed up the situation when he said: "It is a 50-50 affair, both clubs have equal chances of winning. They (Notwane) need the points as much as we need them and things can change once the game is on". The coach was roped in to try to rescue the sinking BMC ship following the departure of Cosmas Zulu who took over the Coca-Cola Cup champions from young Keitumetse 'Pio' Paul only to turn them into the whipping boys.
The BMC management has confidence in Hunda and he is eager to impress especially in these testing times. A win against Notwane is just what he needs to prove to his bosses that they did not make a mistake in recruiting him after he quit his job at neighbours Extension Gunners.
After tonight, BMC will be left with five games while Notwane still have six. Notwane publicity officer, Ace Mooki said that everybody at the club understands that it will be a game of survival against BMC and they will leave nothing to chance.
"After our losses against both Nico United and Mogoditshane Fighters, questions were asked as to what is really going on in our camp. We unnecessarily lost to Fighters especially. It is not that I do not respect them. But frankly speaking, we have better players than them and we gave away the points easily," Mooki said.
He is confident of a win against BMC following their draw against Gaborone United. "We have not been performing well but after our game against GU, we proved that we had what it takes to compete at the highest level in the Mascom Premier League. Right now, we have set ourselves a target to get maximum points in the remaining (games)," Mooki said.
Though he does not underrate BMC, he is not worried about tonight's game. "We are not going to panic against BMC because they have the same worries as us," he said. Burly BMC striker, Senzo Moyo is back in action to partner Kenanao Kgetholetsie up front. Their combination has proved lethal and Agisanyang Mosimanegape and company would have to be on top of their game to stop Moyo. Notwane could rely on forceful Langson Sichola to open the BMC defence of Alex Matshameko, Boiki Kgalagadi, Vincent Modise and Thabo Mothibi. But the real battle will be in the middle of the pack where Keoagetse 'Barnes' Radipotsane and Dirang Moloi will drive the Toronto machine forward.

From BMC, the nippy but dangerous Bobo Motlhalane as well as veteran craftsman Modise Motswadi will be the men to watch. The only problem with BMC is that whenever the two struggle, the whole team seems to lose direction. Notwane can have it easy if they plan well to keep the duo and Phemelo Ditsile silent.
