Eritrean citizens living in Austria and France, in separate public meetings they conducted, reaffirmed their readiness to live up to the nation's expectation.

At the meetings held in Vienna in which Eritrean national from different Austrian cities took part, the Eritrean non-resident Ambassador to that country, Mr. Petros Tsegai, gave briefings on the objective situation in the Homeland and the on-going national development drive.

Also in a similar meeting they conducted in Paris, Eritrean nationals residing in France reasserted their commitment to fulfill what is expected of them in safeguarding the nation's sovereignty and backing up national programs. Lauding the major development programs being implemented within the framework of the Warsay-Yikaalo Development Campaign, the nationals pledged to donate 200 Euro each for the national cause. In briefings he gave to the participants, the Eritrean Ambassador to France, Dr. Ahmed Hassan Dahli, outlined the tasks being undertaken in different domains and the accomplishments so far registered. He also elaborated on the constructive role Eritrea is playing to promote peace and stability in the Horn of Africa.
