Sumbe — At least two people were injured and hundreds of families were left homeless in Ambiom locality, coastal Kwanza Sul province, following heavy rains that have been falling in the region in the past days, ANGOP learnt.
Local authorities have been surveying to learn about the real number of displaced families in that district, adding that the situation is worrying since the rains are still falling.
A team with the provincial commission of civil protection is already on the spot.
