Liberia: Children Benefit From Health Fair

Monrovia — Several kids residing in the Township of Virginia outside Monrovia have benefited from a two-day health fair organized by Dr. Roseda Marshall Ochillo on behalf of the Virginian Association of Liberians in the Americas. Dr. Ochillo is a Liberian pediatrician currently visiting Liberia.

During the trade fair, children were treated for various diseases from a consignment of drugs provided by the Virginian Association of Liberians.

The Health Fair which were conducted at the Robert C. D. Marshall Memorial Clinic in Virginia, brought together more than 100 kids.

Speaking during the health fair, Dr. Ochillo commended the Government of Liberia and Merlin International for the expansion of the Banjor clinic.

She said the interest by Merlin to upgrade the Banjor clinic was a way of helping to improve health condition in the area.

At the same time, officials of the Banjor Clinic and R.C.D. Marshall expressed gratitude to the Virginian Association of Liberians in the Americas for the Health Fair.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ochillo has disclosed that she is also in the country to hold a fundraising program for orphans.
