Distinguished medic and renown researcher on the HIV/AIDS virus, Prof. Victor Anomah Ngu, has revealed that the HIV is a natural virus and not fabricated by Americans as some people assert.
Prof. Anomah Ngu, who was in Buea on the invitation of the Catholic Men Association, CMA Buea Diocese, made the assertion while talking on HIV/AIDS and the potentials of the VANHIVAX vaccine, which he invented.
"AIDS has become virulent in man because of sexual promiscuity," he said.Anomah Ngu cautioned that people should not be scared by the manifestations of HIV/AIDS. He said ensuring a strong immune competence for effective reactions is part of the series of solutions earmarked for eliminating the HIV.
He told his audience that all vaccines are therapeutic because the immune response helps to kill the germs, explaining that the immune system is the last defensive bastion of the body and has great potentials for defense.
Anomah Ngu said if VANHIVAX is to succeed as a therapeutic vaccine in the presence of HIV, it must contain all the possible strains or mutants of the virus in the patient.
He described VANHIVAX as a therapeutic vaccine which is safe, sterile and ethical committee of MOH approved it. "And also the informed consent of the patients obtained," he added.
Anomah Ngu chastised some people in Yaounde, who pass around that they are part of his clinic (Clinique de l'Espoir and Biomedical Research Center) or research team, calling on patients to watch out on these impostors.
Earlier in his homily during a mass dedicated for the efforts of Anomah Ngu in his relentless fight against HIV/AIDS, Mgr. Immanuel Banlanjo Bushu, Bishop, Buea Diocese, enjoined Christians to thank and praise God for all His deeds and goodness to mankind.
Bishop Bushu told Anomah Ngu that God has given him many gifts, especially that of long life, clear thoughts and God has done a lot through him.The Shepherd of the Diocese of Buea said the people of Saint Anthony Parish, Buea are celebrating God via Anomah Ngu.
"Let us tell Prof. Anomah Ngu the goodness he has done to mankind while he is living and not when he is dead. When we do that we project the shinning glory of God," Bushu commented.
He invited Christians not to entertain fear, calling on them to consult God in all their problems, especially during sickness. "Sickness is not a bad thing in itself, it is us who make it bad," he said.

President, Saint Anthony Pastoral Council, Gabriel Njoh, said their wish is to see Anomah Ngu participate in the Diocese of Buea. "We want to have a medical unit that he can supervise and to have patients from this part of Cameroon attended. We see it coming and he has promised us."
