"We now what kind of the industry to set up in each province", said Kiala Gabriel, who added that the industries will be installed according to the pecificity, the nature and potential in local resources.

"The strategy of the government is the creation of objective conditions for the best development of the natural resources the country has," he added.

Kiala Gabriel said as well that IDIA has projects in the various domains of activity, but there is need for structuring projects with multiplying effects, with the emergence of great resources existing in the country.

In characterising the Angolan industrial sector, Kiala Gabriel stated that the country has gained an accelerated momentum to promote direct private investment in the sector.

He said the private investor must take an active role as it is a privileged partner in the implementation of government policies.

According to him, the creation of industrial zones in the provinces will facilitate the emergence of new economic growth points capable of providing more direct and indirect jobs for thousands of people, thus reducing regional asymmetries in the fight of poverty.
