The Installation ceremony took place on April 16 at the Banquet hall of the Governor's office.
Tsegui David has been commissioned at the helm of the Provincial Delegation of Commerce in the Littoral. He replaces Auguste Amougou who has served as Delegate of Commerce in the Littoral Province for three years.
During the ceremony presided over by the Littoral Governor Fai Yengo Francis, he called on the new Delegate to ensure that prices of basic commodities are reduced as prescribed by the Head of State, as well as to take fiscal measures as far as cement, fish, flour, etc, whose prices have been reduced are concerned. He added that Tsegui should be collaborative and ensure he reviews the living standard of the population in order to increase their purchasing power.
Fai Yengo appreciated the former Delegate and hailed him for the work he had done when he headed the Delegation of Commerce in Littoral. He added that he was successful in his professional career. The governor called on Amougou to go to his new post with the same kind of zeal he exhibited in the Littoral.
After the ceremony, the new Delegate said his mission in the Littoral is to follow up the protocol agreement between the economic operators and the government. And also the measures decided by the Head of State. Tseugi said he has to work hard with his collaborators so as to maintain the reduction of basic commodity prices in Littoral. This will be done, he said by putting in place commercial sales points and through the caravan which sells basic commodities. He said they also intend to organise the promotion of basic commodities in all their services. "I believe if we carry all these measures out we will be able to meet up with the terms put in place by the hierarchy.
Tsegui was former Delegate of Commerce in the Southwest Province. He was born in 1959 in Bandjoun. He is married and a father of five.
