Luanda — The prime minister of Angola, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos leaves this Friday for Mauritius to attend SADC' International Summit on Poverty and Development.
Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos will represent the Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, at the summit that will to happen at Port Louis until April 20.
The conference, organised by the Southern African Development Community (SADC), shall happen under the motto "Regional economic integration: a strategy for the eradication of poverty towards a sustainable development".
Mauritius is an island nation off the coast of the African continent in the southwest Indian Ocean, about 900 kilometres (560 mi) east of Madagascar.
Mauritius attained independence in 1968 and the country became a republic within the Commonwealth in 1992.
