Monrovia — The Center for Liberian Assistance, a women and children advocacy group has expressed concern about the third autopsy scheduled to be performed on the late Angel Togba.
Speaking to the INQUIRER last night, the group's Children Program Coordinator, Josephine Payne, said her organization foresees problem with the third autopsy on the late Angel Togba especially when it comes to the body parts produced during the second autopsy.
She said this autopsy might be misleading because during the first autopsy, it was discovered that Angel parts were missing. "How sure are we that the parts that were brought out to be hers during the second autopsy are really little Angel's parts?" she questioned.
She called on the requisite authorities to see reason in ensuring that the third autopsy be conducted in a way that evidence would be destroyed since her parts were missing during the first autopsy and parts brought back during the second autopsy.
Ms. Payne said the entire exercise aimed at conducting a DNA test on little Angels' body relative to the allegation of sexual intercourse is crucial since body parts were brought back during the second autopsy.
During little Angel's first autopsy, the body parts were missing but this was not reported until the second autopsy by the Cuban pathologist who conducted same.
She then ordered that the missing parts be produced, something which led to the parts to be produced.
During her findings, the Cuban pathologist discovered that Little Angel Togba was sexually abused and strangulated to death after the sexual intercourse.
The situation led government to charge Angel's guardians, Mr. Hans Williams and Ms. Madea Paykue with murder.
