Angola: Female Team Cancels Friendly Matches in Luanda

The national soccer female team on Thursday cancelled their friendly games with a squad made up by players from various teams of the capital city and with Progresso do Sambizanga's junior males club, due to schedule problems, ANGOP learnt.

According to coach Augusto Manuel, the national females team will have a control game with Inter de Malanje junior males squad, at 1º de Maio stadium, in the first week that they will start the training programme in Malanje Province.

He added that Luanda City will host the last phase of the Cosafa Cup (southern Africa), in females category, to be disputed on 03-10 May.

The tournament will be disputed in two groups (A and B) of four teams each.
