A delegation of the Central Committee of the ruling MPLA party, led by its secretary for Economic Policy, Manuel Nunes Júnior, left this Friday for eastern Kuando Kubango province, where it will address, on Saturday, the local extraordinary conference of the organisation.
Speaking to ANGOP moments before leaving the country's capital, Manuel Júnior informed that the referred meeting aims at preparing the second national conference of MPLA to happen from May 09 to 10, in Luanda.
The official explained that the preparation process of the national forum started at action committees, and spread to communal committees and municipal conferences.
At the moment provincial conferences are being held with the main goal of preparing MPLA for the forthcoming legislative elections, set for next September.
With the same objective, a delegation led by the co-ordinator of the Commission of Discipline and Auditing of the MPLA's Central Committee, Carlos Alberto Ferreira Pinto, also travelled this morning to northern Uíge province.
