Preparations are currently on high gear for the final release of the much anticipated movie entitled "Shackles of love" exclusively acted by young Gambian stars.

It is expected to be release dsometime in May 2008. The movie features about 25 top Gambian actors and actresses acted in English.

The 2hours 30minutes movies, produced by Don Kinsley better known as Faburama tells us a story of betrayal involving a young promising man called Buba, who is in love with a lady called Fanta.

deeply in love, Buba happen to travel to the UK and before he returns Fanta embezzles his property with her ex-boyfriend.

In an interview What's On, Faburama , producer of the movie, said his dream was to make Gambia one of the top five movie industry in West Africa.

"We have a lot in stock and, believe me, many of those who watched the promo shots could not believed that the movie was really acted in The Gambia. In this movie you find a lot of interesting scenes that depic real life situation in today's generation," he said.

He added that, with his vast experience in the movie industry, this is his first production , but that had once acted with Banjul Cops, featured on GRTS, bitterness -living in dream and evils communication, among others.

He noted that he was also featured on GRTS during the breakfast show.
