Luanda — The team of Atlético Sport Aviação (ASA) beat Saturday at Coqueiros Stadium, in Luanda, 1º de Maio de Benguela by 2-0, and jumped to fifth place of Girabola-2008, with 12 points.
In an eighth round match of the National Championship of First Division, the "aviadores" the nickname of ASA scored in 61 and 90 minutes by Ângelo and Ari, respectively.
Despite the defeat, os "proletários" the nickname of 1º de Maio remain in the fourth position with 13 points. On the same day, the team of Sagrada Esperança da Lunda Norte and Recreativo do Libolo played to a two-goal draw, in Kwanza Sul province.
The round was opened on Friday where Santos FC won Petro do Huambo by 2-1 and will close on Sunday with the following matches: Petro de Luanda-Interclube, Kabuscorp-FC Bravos do Maquis; Benfica do Lubango-Benfica de Luanda and 1º de Agosto-Desportivo da Huíla.
The competition is led by 1º de Agosto, Petro de Luanda and Santos, all with 17 points. Petro do Huambo is in the bottom of the table with four points.
