Soyo — Angola's ruling MPLA party militants in northern Zaire province were Sunday informed about the implementation of social projects in the region, aimed at improving the populations living.
On the fringes of the party's Provincial extraordinary conference, the 219 attending militants were informed by the representatives from the various ministries, about the direct benefits resulting from the projects.
As to the electricity and water, the provincial director, José Amaro, announced that the supply of electricity and water in Mbanza Kongo was going to be increased by June this year, from the current 200 to 1,500 cubic metres per day, while the production of electrical power will be secured by two to five 2,000 Kva generators. The members of MPLA were also informed about public works, health, education, transport, commerce, tourism, and public administration employment and social security sectors.
