Petro de Luanda beat Interclub at home by 3-0 on Sunday, in this city's 22 de Junho Stadium, a match that counts for the eighth round of the national first division championship (Girabola-2008), thus standing at the first position with 20 points.

The three goals of Petro were scored by Santana, at 12, 36 and 61 minutes.

With this victory , Petro de Luanda, who were sharing the lead with 1º de Agosto, benefited from the draw the latter had at home against Desportivo da Huíla (1-1), in Coqueiros Stadium.

Therefore, 1º de Agosto fall to the second position with 18 points, one more than Santos FC.

In the other matches to conclude the round, Benfica de Luanda beat Benfica de Lubango by 1-0, while Kabuscorp do Palanca beat Bravos do Maquis by 2-0.

On Saturday, Atlético Sport Aviação (ASA) defeated 1º de Maio by 2-0 and Sagrada Esperança da Lunda Norte drew (2-2) with Recreativo do Libolo do Kwanza Sul.

In the opening of the round, last Friday, Santos FC defeated Petro do Huambo by 2-1.
