Angolan Prime Minister Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos already left Port Louis City, Mauritius capital, en route to Angola, after participating in the International Conference on Poverty and Development, organised by the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC).
During the meeting, Fernando Dias dos Santos, who represented the President José Eduardo dos Santos, met King Mswati III of Swaziland, with whom he discussed matters related to co-operation between both states.
The Premier also met the European commissioner for co-operation and development, Louis Michael, who praised the Angolan government for the way it is preparing the legislative elections that are scheduled for September, this year.
At the conference that outlined strategies to eradicate poverty until 2015 in the region, topics like "agenda on SADC regional integration-route for economic growth and the eradication of poverty" and "social dimension and environment in the region" were also analysed, among others.
