Francistown — A special constable at Tatitown Police Station is being investigated for stealing P350 from a friend on April 4.
It is said the 26-year-old special constable who is a resident of Kgaphamadi stole the money from a resident in Maipaafela.
She spent the night at her friends place and borrowed P20 from her before leaving. She later came back and stole P350. Tatitown Police Station commander Assistant Superintendent Alfred Ntile disclosed that P33 was discovered from the officer.
"The police investigations are continuing," said Ntile. He disclosed that the officer has not been interdicted.
