Ndalatando
The deputy minister of Urbanisation and Environment, Mota Liz called Monday, in Ndalatando city, the attention of the Angolan population, for a limited exploration of natural resources in view to guarantee a better living condition and the increase of the sustainability levels.
The official made this appeal at the closing ceremony of a workshop held in light of the World Earth Day, to be marked on April 22 (Tuesday), whose main event happened, in Ndalatando, capital of northern Kwanza Norte province.
He defended that cancelling the reckless cutting down of trees, and the creation of gas-burning substations, among others, contribute to the compensation of the unbalance caused to nature.
According to the deputy minister, some negative activities for the preservation of the environment, resulted from the long period of war that affected the country, alerting against the dangers caused to humanity when the environment is destroyed.
The workshop that was presided over by the deputy minister of Urbanisation and Environment, Mota Liz, analysed topics such as: "Response to the daily challenges of the earth", "The civil society and the daily challenges of the earth" and "The natural potentials of Kwanza Norte - State of the Kilombo botanic garden".

The event was also attended by the governor of Kwanza Norte, Henrique André Júnior, public magistrates, government officials, military and police officers, and students.
