Mr and Mrs Bredenkamp were the winners of the Standard Bank home loan competition draw.

Millie Kriel, of Standard Bank home loans division, broke the news to the lucky couple last week on Monday and all the response she could get from the excited pair was: "Wow, are you sure? This is a great surprise. Thank you."

The competition started at the beginning of the year.

It stated that if you need your own space you should make an effort to own it and if you financed your house with Standard Bank between February 4 and March 31, you stood a chance of winning N$40000. These were the only qualifying criteria.

The draw was conducted under the watchful eye of the bank's audit department.
