Luanda — The deputy minister of Health, Evelise Frestas, who leads a delegation of her institution, left the Angolan capital (Luanda) this Wednesday morning for northern Uíge province, where she will get acquainted with the reality of the sector in that region.
Speaking to ANGOP at "4 de Fevereiro" Airport, the official informed that, during the visit, she will analyse with local authorities about the current state of the sector so as to seek solutions together.
According to Evelise Frestas, the current situation of the sector in that province "is not unknown, since some organisations linked to the Health Ministry already assessed the local reality".
Matters of organisation and assistance were among the difficulties found.
With the return set for Saturday, the delegation is made up of some directors of hospitals, senior officials of the Ministry and the chairpersons of the Physicians and Nurses Associations.
