Liberia: Holland-Based Group Donates to UL

Several high schools and the University of Liberia have benefited from over US$ 30,000 worth of computers and computer accessories donation from the Network for the Development of Liberia (NETLIB) based in Holland with branch in Liberia.
The donation ceremony took place last week with the University of Liberia receiving the first batch of the items followed by the Muslim Congress, the Monrovia College (MC) Machetta's Preparatory School and People Empowerment Program (PEP) among others.
The Executive Managing Director of NETLIB Liberia branch, Mr. Folley J. Johnson NETLIB and his Liberia team executed the donation ceremony on behalf of the chairman and founder of the organization, Mr. Ambolia J. Kamara who is based in Holland.
Mr. Johnson disclosed that his organization's main focus is to prioritize educational development and to strengthen the human resource development in Liberia.
According to him, NETLIB is a humanitarian organization that focuses on educational empowerment and human resource development in Liberia.
In separate statements, the beneficiaries lauded the chairman and founder of NETLIB, Mr. Ambolia Kamara for his thoughtfulness to render assistance to his fellow countrymen.
The recipients then prayed for the NETLIB to continue its good work to Liberia and that its officials not to be deterred by obstacles that would tend to stop them from doing what they are involved in.
At the same time, NETLIB Liberia said it is currently running a free vocational training institute at its head office in Sinkor around the Fish Market.

Mr. Johnson disclosed that the school is offering training in tailoring, carpentry, computer skills training among other vocational courses.
