Luanda — The secretary of state for Environment of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Amilton Pereira da Silva arrived this Wednesday afternoon in Luanda to attend the meeting of ministers of the sector of the Portuguese Speaking Countries Community (CPLP), to happen on Thursday in Angola capital, Luanda.
The Brazilian official was received, at the Luanda's International Airport, by the Angolan deputy minister of Environment, José da Mota Liz, accompanied by the ambassador of that South American country accredited in Angola, Afonso Senna Cardoso.
During the event, to take place at Talatona Conventions Centre, south of Luanda, the participants will analyse various problems that affect countries of the community in terms of environment, as well as other co-related phenomena.
The Cape Verdean minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment, Maria Madalena das Neves, the minister of Environment and Territory Arrangement of Portugal, Francisco Nunes Correia, who arrived in Luanda this morning, besides the group of experts who are preparing since Tuesday the documents and topics to be debated by ministers of the sector, are already in the country.
