Tunis,

A musical event named "Spring of Tunisian music" will take place at the renowned Dar Sebastian, lodged in the Hammamet international cultural center. The event will spread out over three two day sessions, respectively on April 26 and 27, May 3 and 4 and May 10 and 11, 2008.

The spring of Tunisian music which is held under the aegis of the Ministry of culture and heritage preservation in collaboration with the Tunisian Association of Sciences, aims primarily at allowing young Tunisian virtuoso artists to present their works in all walks of music (classical, oriental and jazz music).

Fittingly, a Tunisian orchestral ensemble made of young professional musicians will open the show on April 26. The group will feature chamber music pieces dating back from the glory days of baroque music to date .
