Asmara — Eritrean nationals residing in Italy and Holland reaffirmed their readiness, in public meetings conducted recently, to safeguard the nation's sovereignty and back up development programs.
In a two-day meeting they held in Torino and Milan, the Eritrean citizens living in Northern Italy conducted an extensive discussion on the objective situation in the Homeland and the national development drive. The participants also pledged to donate 300 Euro each for the national cause.
Similarly, Eritrean nationals in Holland conducted a meeting from April 19 to 20 in the cities of Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Campen and others, during which they lauded the major development programs being implemented within the framework of the Warsay-Yikaalo Development Campaign. They also expressed their commitment to step up the national development drive and rebuff anti-Eritrea conspiracies and hostilities by standing alongside their people and government. Moreover, the participants of the meeting decided to enhance their financial contributions to the national cause.
