Nairobi — The scene is set for this year's Home and Gardens Exhibition to be staged by Prime Media as part of its in-house Property '08 domestic tourism promotion and Express Communication's exceptional 10th Nairobi Educational Fair.
The event, to be held at the Expo centre from April 30 to May 30, will provide Nairobi's housewives and homemakers with a great opportunity to improve and add value to their homes.
The fair brings together a whole range of providers of house, patio and garden furniture, kitchen and home appliances and cook ware, electronics and furnishings. Also present will be interior designers, swimming pool constructors and services, florists and landscapers participating.
Leisure and Travel Guides are preparing an informative exhibition catalogue which will be available free of charge at the entrance and will be handy reference for visitors to keep. There is, however, not enough space to accommodate all the 30 or so exhibitors taking part, but to mention few Inspiration Art and Futon and Furniture, Tile and Carpet Centre, Nishit and Company. Art and Mekan East Africa have stands.
Also listed are Centon Kenya Crown Gases Fire Division, Crown Berger Paints, Renford Drapers, Emetic Kenya and Surefit Curtains.
Satan Interior Designers of Karen, Salute Holding, Capital Realty, Plant Care Gardens, Woodley Weavers, Lamu Artworks and Kenya Limited will be displaying their products and services.
The Home and Gardens exhibition is a five-day event, which, this year, will include the May Day holiday offering the opportunity for many working mothers to visit the show during the mid-week.
