The Action Congress (AC) has renewed its call on the Federal Government to provide daily information to Nigerians on the state of health of President Umaru Yar'Adua, after his scheduled return to the country from Germany, Tuesday was postponed.

In a statement in Abuja yesterday, its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said the statement credited to the President's spokesman that he is fine and recuperating in Germany does not go far enough.

"Something just doesn't add up here, and Nigerians have a right to know how their leader is doing. In case these aides don't know, Yar'Adua presides over one of Africa's foremost nations and a country of tremendous importance to people of black descent around the world.

"It is therefore important that information about his health be better managed that it is being done presently. For God's sake, what exactly is wrong with Mr. President? If it is a case of badly-diagnosed Malaria, how can it become like this?"

"Which hospital exactly is treating him in Germany?
