Fellow Gambian brothers and sisters, as well as parent's. As the common saying put it: "It is hard to swallow the truth." However, human conscience never denies the truth, and only the truth inevitably sets your mind free.
When a frog in front falls in a pitch, others behind should take caution. My heart is filled with pain and agony at the rate of speed with which nations in Africa are substituting each other in terms of violence, crime and war. The recent violence in Kenya makes me very irritable and conveys the irrationality of the Kenyan people. Have they not seen wars in other parts of Africa? Or simply do they take it as fun and land their land into jeopardy? The Cameroonians are also on the move.
Rioting and misbehaving. And before long, might get out of hand. Africans should pause. Put one and one together and realize that conflict and violence are not right keys to the door of changes. These pave way to war. As the substitute bench rotates.
I only pray and hope that this great nation of ours, The Gambia, stays peaceful and wonderful serving as an example to the whole universe. Notorious and non-God-fearing people in and out of the country who are building castles in the air creating noise, mistrust, threat and fear in minds of the Gambian people shall have shame and only shame written all over them when we will be enjoying with pride and fruition of our labour with the future generation. Long life the Gambia! Long life the good people of the Gambia!
My opinion is: we came from a long way and long a journey, we are still pursuing but surely the ultimate way forward. There are countless positive changes in the country so far. I am aware of the physical changes every Gambian is seeing with their own eyes under his reign.

He (being so blessed with wisdom) is touching everything simultaneously. Confident with his vision, the man has sent hundreds and hundreds of Gambian students to achieve and know thereby becoming expatriates in their various fields of concentration regardless of tribe, region, religion, sex or political affiliation.
This may be long term yielding but definite. Some of these students are coming home at the end of this year while others have few years to go. I am optimistic that when our mineral resource areas are set for action, most of these students will be around to playing a vital role in the industry. They will monitor, give decisions, manage, making sure nothing sneaks in the darkness. He is indeed solid, unique and charismatic. Is not about politics and am not good at applauding leaders yet admitting truth, positivist, makes one patriotic.
One thing Gambians should understand, he would live and die just like any ordinary Gambian, of course at the given time set by the Almighty Allah. This is divine. What is the difference between the wise and a fool? When the wise lives and dies, likewise the fool. However, his relentless effort to making sure that this nation stands upright without leaning on any nation or thing should be fabulously welcomed by all and sundry. These are the serious times.
