The Catoca Mining Society (SMC) will officially launch on Sunday (April 27) in north-east Lunda Sul province an institutional book describing some projects carried out by the society in the country since its creation, ANGOP learnt.

A note issued by the institution states that the launching of the book is part of the event commemorating the National Mining Worker's Day, April 27.

Located in Lunda Sul province, the Catoca Mining Society was officially founded on 16 September 1993.

Its social goal is the prospecting, exploration, treatment and trading of diamonds from its Kimberley deposits.
