Angola: Portuguese Embassy Reaffirms Support to Angolan Culture

Luanda — The cultural attaché of the Portuguese Embassy in Angola, João Pignatelli, on Wednesday, in Luanda, reaffirmed his country's interest to support systematically the Angolan cultural manifestations, to strengthen even more the historic ties between both countries.

The official made this statement to ANGOP, in the sidelines of the exhibition of the film "José Carlos Schwartz documentary, Voice of the people (2006)" by the producer Adulai Jamanca, part of the cinema cycle called "Um Olhar Musical" (A musical look).

João Pignatelli announced for 6 May the launching of the Angolan writer Artur Pestana Pepetela's new book, followed by an exhibition by the plastic artist Álvaro Macieira.
