Prof. Asanji Moses Fon, the 1st Director Delegate of the Higher Teachers College, E.N.S annex Bambili has been lifted to the traditional role of a " Tah Mundung" or development agent in the land of His Majesty Fon Awemo II.

The distinction reserved for committed path finders in development was the initiative of the Bambili traditional Council on March 30,2008 in the Bambili palace. In effect, Prof. Asanji Moses Fon was a special quest of the people, tradition and customs of Bambili who during the crowning event dressed him with traditional regalia, a read feather and a stool to show for nobility. The rare choice of Prof. Asanji Moses was inspired by his achievements as Director Delegate at the service of ENS annex Bambili from 1992 to 1999.

The spokesman of the traditional Council; cheered Prof. Asanji for "outstanding development activities in Bambili". The traditional Council revealed that in the 40 year history of ENS annex Bambili, Prof Asanji caused the building of the first ever building ever for the institution. The 2500 capacity hall was later named after him by the students and the traditional council as the " Asanji hall". It is so far, the only modern structure to show for infrastructural development in the institution with four modern toilets and two stores. Against this bacdrop, Prof. Asanji Moses from the neighbourhood of Chomba, Mezam division was privileged with the traditional keys to the semi urban area of Bambili as a noble. ENS annex Bambili has been operating in dilapidated buildings that formerly harboured the local authority primary school built some 60 years ago.

Prof. Asanji Moses Fon also took time off during the distinction to encourage Bambili people to take advantage of proximity to the Higher Teachers College to educate their children. He appealed for inhabitants to preserve and protect ENS land from encroachers and committed to rise to expectation in his new traditional challenge. Prof. Asanji also takes credit as the President General of the Chomba Development Association. He retired from active service in 2005. The 67 year old is a product of CPC Bali; Cottinten University College Liberia and Fourah Bay, University of Sierra Leone.
