Members of the PFDJ branch in Germany held a meeting from April 19 to 20 in Manheim city, during which they expressed readiness to back up the development drive in the Homeland.

Following discussion on the annual work report, the participants of the meeting charted action plan to effectively carry out their activities. Lectures on different topics were also presented at the meeting by Eritrean intellectuals aimed at raising the members' awareness, according to reports.

Moreover, the Eritrean Ambassador to Germany, Mr. Petros Tsegai, gave briefings on the objective situation in the Homeland and the major achievements so far registered in the national development drive. He also called on the PFDJ members to step up their participation in national affairs.

The Head of Public and Community Affairs at the Embassy, Mr. Berhane Zere, on his part reminded the PFDJ members in Germany to reinforce relations with all national associations.
