Luanda — The first Regional Symposium for Secretaries and Directors of Communication is taking place in Luanda under the aegis of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The forum aims to analyse the contribution of church to the new challenges facing the country concerning peace.
Aspects concerning spiritual and social development of the church on social, scientific and administrative issues, as applied to the actual context will also betackled at the event.
The meeting will also analyse the administrative system in Angola and the role of the church in the combat of HIV/AIDS.
Speaking to Angop in the light of the meeting, the pastor and executive secretary of the northern region of the church, Teixeira Mateus Vinte, said that one of the purposes of the Adventist church during the symposium is that the faithful join this particular phase.
"With peace in Angola, we want to see the faithful included in the new orientations that the church is facing in this period of national reconstruction, in order to help the Government", the pastor stated.
