Luanda — Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, appoints Constitutional Court Installing Commission

Luanda, 24/04 - Angolan head of State José Eduardo dos Santos Thursday in Luanda appointed a commission tasked with the creation of the material, technical and legislative conditions for the functioning of the Constitutional Tribunal.

The commission is be coordinated by Rui Constantino da Cruz Ferreira, and includes Efigénia dos Santos Lima, Francisco Queirós, Suzana da Conceição Inglês, António Agostinho Santos, Onofre Martins dos Santos and a representative of the Finance Ministry.

The commission has been given 90 days to complete its work, counting from the date of the presidential dispatch, followed by the revocation of the Constitutional Tribunal and nomination of concerned judges, in line with the law in force in the country.
