Luanda — The Journalists Training Centre (Cefojor) promotes from April 29 to 30, at its premises, a workshop under the topic "Media and elections in Angola", ANGOP learnt this Friday from a note of the institution.
The course aims at upgrading and equipping Angolan journalists, in view of a better professional performance in mobilising and raising the patriotic conscience of voters, reads the note.
The document explains that the workshop will discuss "The role of the press in the consolidation of democracy", "Media in the electoral legislation", "Strategies of electoral coverage on radio, television and written press" and "The Portuguese, Brazilian and South African electoral coverage experience", among others.
