Luanda — A message from the President of USA, George W. Bush, whose details have not been revealed, has been handed over this Friday, here, to the Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos.
The US assistant secretary of State for African Affairs, Jendayi Frazer was the bearer of the message.
At the end of the audience of few minutes, the American diplomat told journalists that she availed the opportunity to discuss about bilateral issues.
According to Jendayi Frazer, the current situation in Zimbabwe was also discussed at the meeting.
She reminded that Angola chairs the Organ of Cooperation, Politics and Security of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
Concerning the situation in Zimbabwe, the diplomat referred that the USA defends a "quicker" divulging of the result of the elections that were held on last March 29.
