Angola: Science Minister Leads Delegation to Angola-Vietnam Join Commission Meeting

Luanda — A top level delegation of the Angolan government, led by the Science and Technology minister, João Baptista Ngandagina, is in Hanoi, to attend from April 28 to 30 the 4th Session of the Angola-Vietnam Joint Bilateral Commission, ANGOP learnt Friday.

According to a press note from the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the Angolan delegation's mission to Vietnam is part of the reinforcement of bilateral cooperation.

The Foreign Affairs deputy minister for cooperation, Irene Alexandra Neto and the director of bilateral cooperation of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Florêncio de Almeida, among other staff make up the delegation.

Early this month, the Vietnamese secretary general of the Communist Party, Nong Duc Manh paid a visit to Angola, in light of the strengthening of friendship relations and existing cooperation between both countries.

Four legal cooperation agreements were signed between both countries, namely the general agreement of cooperation in the Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural sectors, the trade agreement, exemption of visas in diplomatic and service passports and the cooperation protocol in the Oil sector.
