In this week edition of What's On, we present to you a brief profile of featured DJ Sound Youth, another sprouting DJ in The Gambia.

Also known as the Samsideen Wilson, DJ Sound Youth attended Muslim Senior Secondary School.

After school, he though of pursing further studies aborad but due to financial circumstances he was able to fulfilled his dreams

His career in the music business started in 1999 when he use to play as Disk Jockey (DJ) at places like Jakarlo formely (Spy bar) in Senegambia among other hottest spot in the country.

However, due to his prolific skills and selecting skills, DJ Sound Youth have virtually worked with almost all the hottest selectors of this country.

Since then, his knowledge of music and technical ability continued to grow and develop over he years which enable him to make a name for himself in the country entertainment industry.

In 2001, 2001, a local music union was form called "Dignity Movement", was formed comprising other DJ's like DJ Faboutan and Yaxi Banton both of Kids With Talents (KWT) Radio.

"My love music so much .In most of my show, when I took the center stage you can just believe how the crow respond to my vibes. I want to big up man like Pisces of OneTribe Sound and DJ Simplest of the Yagana World International Reggae Vibes based in Holland for the support rendered to me in the recent years," he said.," he said.

Dignity Movement and Yagana World are currently working hand in hand and also organised programmes in places like Tangi, Mandinaring Lamin just to name a few.Watch out for Dignity Movement.
