Huambo — The provincial committee of the ruling MPLA party in central Huambo province holds this Saturday a rally for the masses, at Saidy Mingas square, which will gather militants of the party, youth and women wings, JMPLA and OMA, respectively, and the population in general.
According to a note of the MPLA's provincial committee delivered to ANGOP, the event, which will be preceded by a promenade through the main streets of this city, also aims at paying homage to the ex-member of the Central Committee of MPLA, Valentim Amões, deceased last January 19, in Huambo, due to an airplane crash.
On the sidelines of the MPLA rally, a motorcycle race is expected to take place, here, this Saturday afternoon.
