The second African Congress on Roads, a forum that analyses projects of construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of roads in the continent, will take place from next May 26 to 28, here, in a promotion of the Public Works Ministry.

According to a press note from the Public Works Ministry sent to ANGOP this Saturday, the event will occur in sequence of another held in 2005 in Algeria and will gather experts from various African countries to discuss projects of linkage by roads among countries of the continent.

For this purpose, a delegation of experts from the Public Works Ministry travelled Friday to Algeria, where for two days they will debate with local officials about the preparations of the event.

Comprised of staff of the Road Institute of Angola (INEA), the delegation is being led by the advisor of the institution's director general, Herculano do Nascimento.
