Malanje — Angolan deputy minister of Territory Administration, Edeltrudes Costa, said Saturday in northern Malanje province the Government has adopted measures to attract potential investors into the various localities of the country.
"We know that great projects are being done. Hence the Government adopting measures aimed at encouraging potential investors to invest, either in Malanje, or in other localities," said the official at the end of a visit to the Capanda hydroelectric project.
According to him, there should be a wider publicity of the country's potential with a view to attracting investors and taking the best possible advantages of it, to the benefit of the people.
He called on the Angolan people to be hopeful and assist the Government with various undertaking towards the country's social and economic development.
The official said there has been a great investment in training of human resources, and called on the society to help the Government.
Edeltrudes Costa spoke of the Pungo a Ndongo farm that was visited by a delegation of the Interministerial Commission for the Electoral Process (CIPE), including provincial vice governors and representatives of the Executive Commissions.
He said the Pungo a Ndongo farm is a great project being undertaken by the Government and a response to the various problems facing the world like the food crisis.
The official said the project has a great social impact as it has created jobs for citizens and has the capacity to process three tons of maize per hour.
Edeltrudes Costa travelled to Malanje province as part of the meeting of appraisal of the electoral registration update underway in the country.
