Luanda — The Forum of Angolan Non Governmental Organisations (Fonga) and Programme to Fight Urban Poverty (Lupp) organise on 28 to 29 April, in Soyo City, northern Zaire Province, a meeting named "Co-operating for Local Development".
According to a press release from Lupp sent to ANGOP, the event aims at outlining strategies to improve the level of development in Soyo District, through co-operation among the authorities, civil society and companies.
According to the programme, during the two days of activities it will be discussed topics like employment, education and health, as well as the responsibility and the role of each individual for local sustainable development.
The forum will try to improve mechanisms of co-operation between different actors of society, aimed at participating with higher efficiency in local development.
The organisers intend to call on competent local authorities, companies and civil society to be responsible in developing the province, so that everyone's co-operation is effective.
