Presiding Lutheran Bishop, Sumuwood Harris, has been reelected for the fourth term as Bishop of the Lutheran Church of Liberia.

Bishop Harris was elected to the position over the weekend, at the 13th Bi-annual convention of the church, which took place at the Lutheran Training Institute in Salayea District, Bong County.

He emerged the victor in the elections over three other clergy- men of the Lutheran Church in Liberia.

According to reports, Bishop Harris won the electoral pool with a total of 300 votes out of a total of 403 votes cast in the elections, thus making him to sweep the poll over his three other contenders.

Rev. Barthalomeh Colley, came second with 72 votes, followed by Rev, Victor Padmore with 27 votes and Rev. Tokpa Songu with 3 votes.

His election means that, he will now serve the church as Bishop for the next four years for the third consecutive times, having served the church for the past 17 years as Bishop.
