Cameroon: British Council Launches Management Express

The British Council Cameroon, in partnership with the National Polytechnic Bambui, Friday, April 25, launched Management Express in Bamenda under the theme "Ethics in Finance."

Express Business is a forum for interaction between managers, job seekers and business people.Speaking during the occasion, Emmanuel Ngungoh, Head of Projects and Services at the British Council, sail Management Express seeks to bring together a vibrant network of managers and professionals through high profile networking events and an online discussion to share experiences and expertise.

"It provides unparalleled interaction and collaboration with the brightest minds in management, both from Cameroon and UK leaders whose thought-provoking insights, innovative strategies and enthusiasm will catalyse management trends of tomorrow," Ngungoh said.

He said for three years, the British Council has been running this forum on a monthly basis in Yaounde and given its rich quality and demand, the British Council authorities decided to reach out to other parts of Cameroon with Bamenda as one of the priority areas.

In appreciation, Abel Ndeh, former Bamenda Urban Council Government Delegate, managers of parastatals, students and job seekers thanked the British Council for opening wider opportunities as concerns management skills, job offers and a lot more to the population of the Northwest.

The Head of Finance and Resources at the British Council was lead presenter. The Project Manager in charge of Foreign Exams, Mrs. Caroline Ndifon, and Gordon Ndamukong, a British Council staffer were main facilitators.
