Angola/Mozambique: Soccer - National Team Back to Work for Match Against Mozambique

The national soccer team started this morning a training session ahead of 04 May qualifying game against Mozambique, for Africa-based players tournament, whose final stage will take place next year in Cote D'Ivoire.

The squad worked at Cidadela Stadium, under the command of national head coach Oliveira Gonçalves, in a session focused on physical recovery of players, who played over the weekend in the ninth round of national championship (Girabola).

From 24 players summoned only 19 attended the training session. Those who did not show up belong to Interclube, who have not returned yet from Egypt, where they lost by 3-0 against Zamalek for preliminary round of the African champion clubs league.

Until Wednesday, the pupils of Oliveira Gonçalves will hold training sessions twice a day. On Thursday, Palancas Negras (nickname of national soccer squad) will play a warm up match against Atlético Sport Aviação (ASA).

The following are the players summoned by head coach. Lamá, Asha, Xara, Job, Santana, Jamuana, Sérgio, Mário, Nuno, Gildo, Minguito, Eduardo, Locó, Fofaná, Love, Joãozinho, Chinho, Miloy, Tunga, Dany, Nuno, Amaro, Mateus and Ndó.
