Mediated talks aimed to resolve the country's political crisis will resume on Tuesday.

The negotiations were postponed last week due to quorum hitches sparking fears members of the National Dialogue and Reconciliation team may have diverted their attention from the delicate process.

The PNU and ODM members are to discuss Agenda Four that touches on long-term solutions to problems facing the country.

The negotiators at Serena Hotel are focusing on constitutional, institutional and legal reforms.

And due to frequent delays, there are suggestions that the members give way to individuals who may dedicate more time to the talks.

The Party of National Unity is represented by ministers Martha Karua, Sam Ongeri, Moses Wetang'ula and Mutula Kilonzo, while Orange Democratic Movement has ministers William Ruto, Musalia Mudavadi, Sally Kosgei and James Orengo.

Their roles as ministers is said to be occupying them.

Last week, co-chair of the talks Oluyemi Adeniji said discussions on the agenda could be completed in two weeks if the team remained focused.
